Welcome
The Sequim Sunrise Rotary, and the Port Angeles Parks & Recreation Department invite you to join the 10th Annual Olympic Peninsula Bike Adventure, September 15th 2013.
Enjoy riding the Metric Century (100km/60 mi) or 25 or 10 miles on the off-road Olympic Discovery Trail that winds through valleys and along the shoreline of some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in the world. As construction on it continues, the trail will eventually connect Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles west to Lake Ozette on the coast.
For only $40 per person, 12 and under $25 each until July 20th, 2013 and then $50 and $25 respectively after July 20th. Funds from the Olympic Peninsula Bike Adventure will go to support the Sequim Sunrise Rotary, and the Port Angeles Parks and Recreation Department.
This ride begins at the City Pier in Port Angeles or Robin Hill Park. Food & water stations, SAG support and First Aid assistance will be available at several locations along the trail as indicated by a map provided to participants. Fall weather in our area is a good time to be out on the trail, but as with any outdoor adventure it is good to anticipate some rain or windy conditions.
For more information about these great Washington bike rides please call: The City of Port Angeles Parks and Recreation Department, 360-417-4557.
